Job summary

Vinfen seeks a dedicated direct-support professional to empower individuals with brain injury in a residential program in Massachusetts. You will help residents access community resources, plan inclusive activities, and support self-advocacy to live meaningful lives.

Role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid and MAP/PBS certifications, with driving required. Expect active, hands-on duties and collaboration with nurses, case managers, and staff to ensure safety and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Strong advocacy and communication abilities are required.
• Experience with crisis intervention and teamwork is preferred.
• Ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to integrate into communities and build friendships.
• Support access to community resources and organize social activities.
• Provide training and support in daily living skills and self-advocacy.
• Monitor safety, document progress, and communicate with supervisors.
• Assist with medications and coordinate with nursing/case managers as needed.
