Job summary

Northwestern University’s MED-Pulmonary department seeks a skilled research program coordinator to coordinate and complete day-to-day administrative and technical activities for large, nationwide or multi-site studies, in accordance with GCP, IRB, FDA CFR, and ICH guidelines.

You will plan and conduct studies, recruit and consent participants, manage data, prepare reports, assist with grant applications, supervise staff as needed, and ensure regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in social or health science or related; or equivalent combo with 4 years' research experience.
• Master's degree in a related field with 2 years' research or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning and conduct of studies; reviews protocols and expedites studies.
• Recruits and retains participants; obtains informed consent; administers tests per protocol.
• Maintains data; creates reports, graphs, and summaries for grants/publications.
• Writes portions of grant applications; co-authors scientific papers.
• Trains and may supervise research staff; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Manages study databases; monitors data quality and timelines.
