Job summary

Northwestern University is seeking a research project manager within MED-Rheumatology in Chicago to lead daily operations of biomedical or social-behavioral studies with multidisciplinary teams. You will monitor performance, supervise staff, and ensure protocol quality, GCP compliance, and regulatory alignment.

The role involves data analysis, grant coordination, potential co-authorship, and coordination with sponsors as well as IRB/FDA/ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a social/health science or related field.
• Master's or higher in a related field preferred depending on experience.
• Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with participants and re-certify every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate biomedical or social-behavioral research studies with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor study performance, analyze results, and supervise protocol development and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory guidelines, and coordinate grant submissions.
• Manage data, write progress and final reports, and support internal/external project staff.
