Job summary

Northwestern University in Chicago is seeking a Biomedical/Research Project Manager to oversee multi-disciplinary studies. You will lead project execution, ensure protocol compliance, manage data, and coordinate with staff and sponsors to meet milestones.

Responsibilities include participant screening, consent, scheduling, adverse event monitoring, and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and good clinical practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in social/health science or related field.
• 2 years' research experience or relevant experience; or 1 year with related education.
• Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with participants; recertify every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and control of biomedical or social science projects per protocol.
• Manage study activities, determine eligibility, obtain consent, schedule treatments.
• Monitor safety and document adverse events; adjust dosages as needed.
• Oversee data processing, analysis, and reporting; prepare progress/final reports.
• Coordinate with internal/external staff and sponsors to meet timelines.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, IRB, FDA CFR, and ICH standards.
