Job summary

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service seeks a Repair Estimator to appraise sewer repairs, prepare estimates, and support planning for plumbing projects. You will train others, ensure safety and codes compliance, and deliver accurate cost estimates.

The role involves leading planning and scheduling, reading blueprints, and coordinating with customers and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating sewer repair projects and cost components.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and related documents.
• Knowledge of plumbing methods, codes, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and appraise sewer repairs and determine project value.
• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of plumbing repair projects.
• Gather blueprints/specs and compute labor/material costs.
• Train and guide repair team; ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain records and communicate with customers, vendors, and managers.
