L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service is hiring a Commercial Repair Plumber Technician to join our team. You will handle sewer line diagnostics, bid preparation, and pipe installations, with a focus on commercial projects.

Role requires 5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience and may involve leading a crew. A company vehicle is provided and opportunities exist for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience required.
• Experience managing a crew or foreman role strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose sewer lines for repair or pipe replacement.
• Write and present bids to customers for plumbing repair work.
• Install cleanouts, pipes, and floor drains; repair fixtures and pipes; perform CCTV inspections.
• Cut openings in walls/floors to fit pipes; cut and thread pipes; mark positions for connections.
• Assist drain/jetting technicians with service work as needed.

• 5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience REQUIRED.
• Prior experience managing a crew or serving as a foreman is strongly preferred.
• Inspect and/or diagnose sewer lines for repair or pipe replacement.
• Write and present bids to customers for plumbing repair work.
• Install cleanouts, installations, pipes, and floor drains. Repairs plumbing fixtures and pipes. Conducts spot repairs and performs CCTV sewer inspections.
• When applicable, cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings. Cuts and threads pipes. Locates and marks position of pipes and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors.
• Assists drain and/or jetting technicians with service work as necessary.

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay for this position could range from $28 - $42 per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
