Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Rental Shop Lead Technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatics on rental and customer equipment.

You will oversee safety, workflow, and reporting, while supporting technicians and maintaining quality. Ideal candidate has five years in operations management or sales support, leadership experience, and strong IT/troubleshooting skills, with Diesel Mechanic Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on rental equipment.
• Source and order parts as needed for assigned shop and technicians.
• Demonstrate proper use of diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, and material handling.
• Perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, structures and attachments.
• Complete all work orders and time sheets accurately and on time.
