Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Rental Shop Lead Technician to diagnose and repair a range of rental and customer equipment, while supporting safety, workflow, and reporting improvements.

You will oversee parts sourcing, diagnostics, and warranty handling to ensure high equipment readiness. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations management or sales support, proven leadership, strong problem solving, and advanced IT skills.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on rental equipment
• Source and order parts as needed for assigned shop and technicians
• Demonstrate proper use of diagnostic equipment
• Repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems
• Perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, miscellaneous structures and attachments
• Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner
• Operate equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates
• Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures
• Must work overtime on short notice
• Photograph equipment when necessary
• Maintain a safe driving record
• Monitor and control work orders along with warranty and customer related issues
• Develop and monitor reporting technicians training and Yancey Bros correlating Computer Based Training or CBD
• Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner
• Complete a Driver’s Safety Course
• Additional duties as assigned by manager
• To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in operations management, business planning, or sales support management role
