Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Macon, GA, seeks a Rental Shop Technician to diagnose and repair rental equipment and tools. You will work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and support safety, workflow improvements and reporting by technicians.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read repair manuals, and welding or diagnostic equipment experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow repair manuals.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Welding or diagnostic equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair heavy equipment diesel engines and components.
• Repair/replace components of frame assemblies, drive trains and electrical systems.
• Prepare service orders and document work orders, parts orders and inspections.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company time/quality standards.
