Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring for a Winter Seasonal Rental Lead to oversee daily ski/snowboard rental operations and related retail activities. You will coordinate staff, manage inventory, and uphold guest service standards in a fast-paced mountain setting.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing store
  • Manage retail and rental inventory controls and meet or exceed inventory goals

  • Demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends and demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise
  • Drive professional development in yourself and others
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manager on duty when manager is absent, overseeing retail/rental operations
  • Lead a team of up to 15 frontline staff
  • Provide guests with a memorable experience by maintaining a strong culture of guest service

The Rental Lead manages the overall day-to-day operation of all Ski/Snowboard rentals. This position is responsible staff performance, guest service, inventory control, store appearance and financial management. The rental supervisor acts as the manager-on-duty when the manager or assistant manager are absent, and oversees all store operations.


Job Specifications


  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $29.22/hr

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

The expected pay range is$23.00/hr - $29.22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
