Job summary

Vail Resorts in Gorham, NH, is hiring for winter seasonal roles for 2026/27 across multiple departments. The team offers one of the industry’s highest compensation rates, free passes and lessons, 40% retail discounts, and wellness benefits to support guest service excellence.

Starting wage is $20/hour with options for full-time or part-time shifts. Housing is not provided. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until December 15th or until filled.

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
