Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to serve as the technical lead for protection and control systems, overseeing advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and full project execution for substations and industrial facilities.

You will analyze protection schemes, manage complex projects, lead field teams, ensure safe operation, and deliver reliable performance while maintaining strong customer relationships and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing protective relays in transmission, generation, or distribution substations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead job-site safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes and perform commissioning, testing, and functional testing of relay panels.
• Read and validate protection schematics and relay settings.
• Coordinate field activities and manage project execution.
• Interface with customers and project stakeholders.
