North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Rehabilitation Counselor Supervisor to assist the Unit Manager in Guilford County, Greensboro. You will supervise counselors, oversee casework, and help ensure quality service delivery and program goals.

Responsibilities include developing staff, training, and providing technical assistance while coordinating with the Unit Manager and other staff to meet productivity targets and customer service standards in a diverse

Formación

• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or counseling with two years of experience.
• CRCC certification with two years of experience.
• Successful completion of agency requirements for independent counselor status.
• Knowledge of VR policy/procedure.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals on the caseload with job development, job placement and other services to complete a rehabilitation plan for employment.
• Administrative management tasks including casework approvals to ensure quality service delivery for the assigned coverage area, budget development and performance management/improvement.
• Staff development/training, and consultation/technical assistance to subordinate staff.
• Work may include other related assignments as determined by Unit Manager.
