Job summary

Clearwater is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee day-to-day nursing activities across shifts in a long-term care setting. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure adherence to regulations, and coordinate resident care plans with the DON/ADON when applicable.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license in Florida, and experience in long-term care. Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills are essential to maintain high-quality resident care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing Degree and be licensed as an RN in the state.
• 2+ years of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty.
• Assist in directing nursing services per regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Procedures Manual and quality assurance programs.
• Review and report on operations to the Director of Nursing Services.
