Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and supervise day-to-day activities to maintain high-quality care.

You will direct shifts, ensure policy adherence, and collaborate with other resident services to coordinate comprehensive care for residents. This role requires a valid RN license, CPR certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (RN) in good standing with the State.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures and plan shifts’ services.
• Cooperate with other resident services to maintain the resident’s total care regimen.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections by government agencies.
• Review discharge plans and update them as required.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and other routine care as required.
