Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and contribute to quality of care during your shift.

The role requires an active Nursing Degree, current CPR certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in long-term care and PCC is preferred. This full-time position is based in Florida.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing activities supervision during tour of duty.
• Develop, maintain and update written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff to maintain quality care.
• Review discharge plans and assist in planning nursing services for residents.
• Ensure staff compliance with dress codes and departmental policies.
