Job summary

LAKELANDHILLS is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. The role supports the DON/ADON in policy implementation, staff supervision, and quality assurance to ensure high standards of resident care.

The position requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and 2+ years in a long-term care setting, with strong English communication and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree and an active RN license in this state.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 2+ years of experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain required continuing education/licensing.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities during shift and ensure quality care.
• Assist DON in planning and updating nursing service policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Manual and regulatory standards.
• Participate in committees and reporting to improve care plans and discharge processes.
• Supervise nursing staff, assign duties, and monitor performance and safety.
