Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a dedicated registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to policies, and compassionate patient care within a facility setting.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing nursing care, supervising staff, preparing care plans, and assisting with admissions, discharges, and treatment administration as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

Must possess an active RN or LPN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
CPR certificate must be current or obtained within two weeks of employment.
Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability; works harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

Direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct unit nursing care.
Directly supervise and instruct staff to promote knowledge and adherence to policies.
Prepare care plans for customers and participate in care conferences.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Complete admissions, discharges, and transfer processes.
