Job summary

Range is seeking a Lead Recruiter to own and drive hiring across go-to-market, operations, finance, and corporate teams from McLean, VA. This on-site role partners with leadership to define role requirements, design interview processes, and attract world-class talent.

You will own end-to-end recruiting, improve processes, and mentor other recruiters while delivering an excellent candidate experience. Relocation is a contingency for employment for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience focused on business roles (go‑to‑market, operations, finance, or corporate).
• Proven ability to hire top talent in competitive markets and improve recruiting processes.
• Advanced sourcing skills and building pipelines of passive candidates.
• Familiarity with recruiting tools and platforms (ATS, sourcing tools, reporting).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with candidates and stakeholders.
• Experience recruiting in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment.

• Mentor and provide guidance to other recruiters supporting business hiring.

About the role

We're looking for a Lead Recruiter to own and drive hiring across our go-to-market, operations, finance, and corporate teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand business role requirements, craft effective recruiting strategies, and ensure we attract and close world-class talent. Beyond running searches yourself, you'll help shape how the recruiting function operates — improving process, tooling, and playbooks as we scale.

This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday–Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.

• Familiarity with recruiting tools and platforms (ATS, sourcing tools, reporting).

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

• Experience recruiting in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment preferred.
