Job summary

University of Washington invites applications for an Associate Teaching Professor in Real Estate and Director of Programs. The九-month appointment begins September 2027, with a base salary of $12,000–$14,000 per month. The Director receives one additional month of compensation, and the initial term is three years with renewal eligibility.

On-campus teaching and service are required. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in real estate, urban planning, construction management, geography, economics, public policy, business or related field with real estate overlap; completion by Sept 2027.
Demonstrated strong teaching or professional practice in real estate or related discipline.
Experience leading or coordinating academic programs.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs.
Teach 24 credit hours per academic year and mentor students.
Provide leadership for planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of department programs.
Coordinate curriculum updates, class offerings, and scheduling.
Collaborate with academic advisors and industry partners to support student progression.
