Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day Ready Mix plant operations across Maryland, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. The role includes supervising personnel, coordinating maintenance, and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demands.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in concrete production or similar manufacturing, a strong safety mindset, and proven leadership abilities to foster teamwork and accountability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction-related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in ready-mix, concrete production, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Travel requirements: 25–50%.
• Proven experience overseeing Ready Mix operations, concrete batching, and plant production activities.
• Understanding of concrete mix designs, batching procedures, material specifications, testing requirements, and quality standards.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a plant or industrial setting.
• Ability to lead plant employees, coordinate daily activities, provide direction, and promote safety and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ready Mix plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while meeting customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Supervise concrete production processes, ensuring batching accuracy, mix consistency, and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and dispatch coordination for timely delivery and plant efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, environmental regulations, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment inspections for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
