Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Sparrows Point Cement Plant MD to oversee daily operations, run automation, and manage maintenance tasks. You will lead a safety-conscious team, ensure quality and KPI targets, and coordinate with management and other departments to optimize plant performance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of supervisory experience in heavy industry or cement plants, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, SAP, and Maximo.

Qualifications

• Associates/College Degree required; technical fields preferred.
• Bachelor’s in a technical field is preferred or relevant experience.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant processes, startups, shut downs, and preventative maintenance.
• Lead a 5+ year supervisory track record in cement or heavy industry.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Distribution, Quality, and process teams to meet KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and PPE requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors as needed.
