Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Ready Mix line, overseeing day-to-day plant operations.

You will lead plant personnel, coordinate maintenance, and optimize production to meet delivery schedules while upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in ready-mix or related manufacturing, with strong leadership and knowledge of concrete batching and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent
• Required work experience: 3–5+ years in ready-mix or similar manufacturing environment
• Travel requirements: 25-50%

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ready Mix plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and meeting delivery schedules
• Supervise concrete production processes, ensuring batching accuracy and quality compliance
• Monitor production schedules and dispatch coordination to maximize plant efficiency
• Ensure safety regulations compliance (OSHA, company policies)
• Perform quality control oversight of concrete specs and mix designs
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections of plant equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and inventory levels
• Manage raw material inventory (aggregates, cement, admixtures)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Communicate with customers, drivers, maintenance, and management
