Job summary

Applied ABC in Tucson, AZ seeks a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to guide RBTs, deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA services, and support BCBAs in treatment fidelity. You’ll mentor peers, model best practices, and drive ethical, client-centered care across cases.

You will lead by example in clinical delivery, data collection, and collaborative teamwork, with opportunities for leadership growth and meaningful impact on families and clinicians alike.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
• Experience providing ABA services in clinic, home, or school-based settings.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities or experience mentoring peers.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, behaviour intervention implementation, and data collection.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Model excellence in direct ABA service delivery and uphold the centre’s clinical standards.
• Support the BCBA in ensuring treatment plans are implemented with consistency, professionalism, and fidelity.
• Promote best practices in ABA and reinforce ethical, client-centred care in daily operations.
• Mentor and support RBTs to strengthen clinical skills and confidence.
• Provide hands on guidance, modeling, and constructive feedback to encourage professional growth.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment where teamwork and accountability thrive.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA to reflect each child’s unique goals.
• Ensure skill acquisition and behaviour intervention programs are delivered accurately and consistently.
• Support treatment integrity and adherence to ethical and organisational standards.
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioural data to track client progress.
• Communicate trends, barriers, and successes to the supervising BCBA to support data‑driven decisions.
• Promote continuous improvement in service delivery to enhance client outcomes and team performance.
• Maintain open, professional communication with families regarding client progress and session updates.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure cohesive care.
• Represent the centre’s mission and values with professionalism in all interactions.
