RTX is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer for Advanced Effector Guidance Systems in Tucson, AZ. You will lead radar subsystem calibration efforts, work across multiple program teams, and ensure rigorous verification of RF and radar hardware integration.

A DoD security clearance is required for this role. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams across testing and development, contributing to mission-critical guidance and flight avionics solutions for missiles and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM is required.
• Experience in RF electrical subsystems, radar hardware, or RF seeker architectures.
• Experience in systems engineering and requirement development/validation.
• MBSE experience is valued.
• Knowledge of DoD hardware development processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own radar subsystem calibration process, schedule, risk, and maturation strategy.
• Develop technical understanding of calibration tools and requirements.
• Document calibration workflows and maturation plans.
• Collaborate with multiple program teams to calibrate seeker subsystems and verify calibration quality.
• Engage with suppliers, design teams, and test facilities.
• Conduct technical peer reviews and act as SME for radar/RF topics.
• Support lab and field testing and root-cause analysis.
