Job summary

RTX Tucson is seeking a senior RCS engineer to lead radar cross section design, analysis, and test within integrated product teams. You will help incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable systems and support performance assessments.

The role requires a STEM degree with 10+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 7+ years), and a Secret security clearance; domestic relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
• Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with high temperature RCS reduction techniques
• Experience with Infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques
• Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques
• Experience using industry standard computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes such as SENTRi & XPATCH
• Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership experience
• Advanced Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and test
• Work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment of system level performance
• Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
• Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
