Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Spotsylvania County, VA seeks a Quick Service Supervisor to lead fast-paced food outlets and ensure quality, speed, and guest satisfaction. You’ll manage front- and back-of-house teams, train staff, and maintain safety and cost controls in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• General food and beverage knowledge is required.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hotel, resort, or quick-service setting preferred.
• Experience with high volume operations is a must.
• Prior restaurant or fast-food experience is required; supervisory responsibilities are a plus.
• General knowledge and understanding of P&L statements.
• Prior experience managing inventory, foodcost, and labor cost required.
• Ability to remain fluid during high occupancy times and in high stress situations.
• Schedule availability must be flexible; this may include overnight.
• Beneficial if bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BOH operations, including prep, service, and closing in a high-volume setting.
• Help lead kitchen team in executing standardized recipes and maintaining food quality.
• Ensure fast ticket times, clean workspaces, and food safety compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and controlling food costs and waste.
• Coordinate with FOH and expo for smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
