Job summary

Standard Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Quarry Manager to oversee production and shipping at a high-capacity Rip Rap and Construction Aggregate site, ensuring safety and product quality. You will lead quarry development, plan production, and manage budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires 5+ years in operations management, a mining or civil engineering degree, and ability to travel. You will supervise staff, enforce safety rules, and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing operations with progressive advancement.
• Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write detailed correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aggregate operations, including quarry development, drill/blast, plant operations and maintenance.
• Set site operating goals and monitor performance targets.
• Communicate vision and provide direction; provide continuous feedback to direct reports and identify development opportunities.
• Conduct annual evaluations of direct reports.
• Maintain safety through meetings and compliance with safety rules.
• Identify and resolve regulatory, safety, personnel, and production problems.
• Maintain strong customer & supplier relationships.
