Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, seeks an experienced Quarry Manager to oversee 2 million tons per year of Rip Rap and construction aggregate production. You will lead quarry development, drill/blast, plant operations, and equipment maintenance, while driving safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include production planning, budgeting, site planning, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and the ability to travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing operations with a demonstrated record of progressive advancement.
• Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aggregate operations, including quarry development, drill/blast, plant operations and mobile equipment maintenance.
• Set site operating goals and objectives, manage production and loading processes, monitor performance targets.
• Communicate vision, provide direction, and develop direct reports through coaching and feedback.
• Conduct annual evaluations of direct reports and support training initiatives.
• Ensure safety rules, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain safe facilities and processes.
• Identify and resolve regulatory, safety, personnel, and production issues promptly.
