• Solid understanding of quarry operations including excavation, drilling, blasting, and material processing.

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in mining/quarrying.

Responsibilities

• Manage all quarry operations focusing on safety, production goals, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Strategize and implement objectives aligned with company mission, promoting safety, performance, and quality.
• Direct plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet objectives cost-effectively.
• Develop and maintain a proactive maintenance and equipment rejuvenation program to minimize downtime.
• Enforce cost controls within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Mentor supervisors and operators through training and performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
