APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Quarry Manager to direct production and shipping at a 2 million ton per year Rip Rap and construction aggregate site near Memphis. You will ensure safe operations, quality control, and effective planning, budgeting, and site development.

The role requires 5+ years of operations management experience and a bachelor’s degree in mining or civil engineering; travel and occasional off-hours work may be necessary to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in managing operations with a demonstrated record of progressive advancement.
• Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aggregate operations, including quarry development, drill/blast, and plant operations.
• Set site operating goals and monitor performance targets.
• Communicate vision and provide direction to direct reports; identify development opportunities.
• Conduct annual evaluations of direct reports.
• Motivate employees to reach potential and train staff.
• Ensure safety rules and meetings are conducted and facilities are safe.
• Identify and resolve regulatory, safety, personnel, and production problems.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (MSHA, DEP).
• Control costs and improve productivity through efficiency and innovations.
