Job summary

PossAbility, LLC is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to oversee ISPs and support plans for individuals with diverse disabilities. You will collaborate with therapists, nurses, and social workers to ensure comprehensive services and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing ISPs and BSPs, preparing monthly program reviews, and serving as the primary case manager across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, public health, or related field.
• QIDP certified and on the Department's QIDP database.
• 5+ years of experience as a direct care worker for IDD.
• Ability to support individuals with IDD and develop support strategies.
• Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• ISP development and implementation to meet individuals' needs and rights.
• Develop and oversee BSPs for challenging behaviors.
• Prepare written monthly reviews of program status with data and updates.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and social workers for comprehensive support.
• Ensure programs comply with IDHS and related regulations.
• Serve as primary case manager ensuring consistency across services.
• Train staff and supervise team members as needed.
