Job summary
ACT Education seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Quality Assurance to design, implement, and support a scalable test automation framework across the software product suite and back-office systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and own CI/CD testing efforts in a Scrum/SAFe environment.
Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, participating in architecture discussions, and driving automation data management and reporting.
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive IT experience with coding in Java or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Proven ability to design scalable QA automation solutions.
- Experience in Agile/SAFe software development environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA automation framework design, development and maintenance.
- Drive cross-functional teams and contractors to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews, grooming, sprints and daily scrums in a BD/BDT approach.
- Mentor engineers and guide automation strategy across product suite.
