Job summary

Vail Systems Inc. is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across products.

You will own automated testing for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing in distributed applications and telecommunications platforms. The role emphasizes advancing test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Ops teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4–7 years in software development, test automation, or QA infrastructure engineering
• Proficient in Ruby, Java, C#/.NET, C++, Perl, or Python
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks with JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, Selenium, or Cucumber
• CI/CD and container experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, Linux, and networks
• Experience with load, stress, and performance testing and data-driven testing
• Mentoring and technical leadership across Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Lead automation development with scalable, reusable frameworks across multiple products
• Own automated testing for functional, integration, regression, and performance tests
• Advance test infrastructure, libraries, and CI/CD workflows
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and containerized environments
• Investigate failures across apps, services, databases, and infrastructure
• Lead performance validation to model production workloads
• Collaborate with Software Eng., Product, DevOps, and Operations
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and design discussions
• Drive continuous improvement to expand automation coverage and reliability
