Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to manage and perform repairs across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, prep vacants for leasing, and supervise vendor tasks while maintaining equipment and inventory.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience, basic tools, and strong customer service skills. The role requires a flexible schedule, safety awareness, and adherence to Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe tool use required.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and routine maintenance tasks.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist budget planning.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance and support safety programs.
