Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team across an apartment community. You will coordinate service requests, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering resident-focused service.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll supervise staff and contractors, inspect grounds, turn units for marketing, and maintain inventory and shop organization in a budget-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA Type II Certification is required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Basic hand tools and general maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of local/state codes for permits and pool regulations.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise staff and external contractors.
• Manage service requests and preventative maintenance program.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to maintain curb appeal and minimize liabilities.
• Schedule/work on unit turns within budget and oversee vendors.
• Assist residents with move-in/move-out processes.
• Maintain safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Obtain bids for capital improvements with the National Facilities Director.
