AES Clean Energy is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler.

This position develops and maintains schedules for all assigned projects at AES Clean Energy. It involves summarizing EPC project schedules into the AES CE Integrated Master Schedule, monitoring schedule progression, explaining variances, and preparing trend reports. The role supports project developers, managers, and management in understanding project outlooks.

The Lead Project Scheduler reports to the Scheduling Manager.

KEY Responsibilities:

  1. Review project schedule data, including activities, open/close dates, WBS structure, and related data.
  2. Evaluate work packages and related data for feasibility.
  3. Recommend alternative methods or processes to achieve desired results efficiently.
  4. Communicate schedule status and corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule information is properly conveyed.
  6. Assist in developing and maintaining project status reports, including critical path analysis.
  7. Develop and maintain project baselines.
  8. Analyze project requirements and ensure resource availability, notifying management of issues.
  9. Coordinate data collection on project activities and achievements.
  10. Modify schedules as needed and prepare standard reports reflecting schedule status.
  11. Coordinate project plans with all participants to ensure achievability.
  12. May act as delegate for the Scheduling Manager.
  13. Develop schedule analysis and documentation for EPC contract adherence.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Ability to work with diverse teams and reach consensus on complex issues promptly.
  2. Minimum 8 years of scheduling experience or experience in solar project development/construction (industries accepted include O&G, Utility, Renewable, Construction).
  3. Proficiency in scheduling software and analysis techniques.
  4. Leadership in developing schedules and plans effectively and timely.
  5. Strong teamwork, customer support, and communication skills.
  6. Solid understanding of commercial scheduling software like Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office programs.
