This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a lead on specific assignments, providing professional scheduling services to support project delivery.
  • Assist in developing and preparing documents for the Design-Build process and contractor contracts.
  • Manage schedules and schedule-related contract changes effectively.
  • Participate in meetings with the project team and prepare reports, memoranda, and presentations.
  • Review and evaluate monthly Schedule Updates from Design-Builder and Contractor.
  • Support the Project Manager with schedule analysis, reports, and presentations.
  • Evaluate scope issues, notice letters, change orders, and supporting documentation related to schedules.
  • Prepare independent schedule impact analyses for change order negotiations.
  • Provide expertise on schedule change requests and recommend appropriate relief.
  • Review invoices and Progress Reports monthly.
  • Attend meetings and site visits within the DC metro area.
  • Create master schedules, determine logic, duration, and constraints.
  • Apply construction methods and sequencing for infrastructure and facilities projects.
  • Capture impacts and delays, recommend mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Work autonomously under general direction, interacting with internal and external personnel.
  • Communicate project status and updates to supervisors.
  • Suggest corrective actions and develop recovery plans for delays.
  • Understand scope, drawings, and specifications; perform calculations for workflow and resource requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Controls using Primavera P6 Enterprise.
  • Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification or ability to attain within 6 months.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience in Facilities Scheduling is a plus.
