Job Description: Lead Hydrocarbon Scheduler

Job Summary

This role is a senior position for a professional hydrocarbon scheduler recognized as a Subject Matter Expert. The incumbent will oversee scheduling activities, advise management on complex projects, and mentor junior staff. Responsibilities include ensuring documentation accuracy, compliance, and building networks within the industry.

Minimum Qualifications

• Expertise in transport markets and asset activities
• Meticulous documentation management skills
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling systems and platforms
• Understanding of refinery operations, product output, and crude markets
• Experience: Bachelor's degree + 5 years, Master's degree + 3 years, or 9 years without a degree

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute hydrocarbon supply strategies, optimize inventories, and coordinate transportation modes. Act as an internal consultant and mentor.
2. Assess and implement solutions to optimize working capital, inventory, and contingency planning for major events.
3. Manage supply programs, develop nominations, and communicate with stakeholders including traders, terminals, and inspection companies.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Identify technological improvements, maintain accurate data, and verify invoices.
2. Collaborate on projects such as scheduling upgrades, IT solutions, and logistical innovations.
