AES Clean Energy is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler.

This position develops and maintains schedules for all assigned projects, summarizes EPC project schedules into the AES CE Integrated Master Schedule, and monitors schedule progression. The role involves explaining schedule variances, preparing trend reports, and assisting project teams in understanding project outlooks.

The Lead Project Scheduler reports to the Scheduling Manager.

KEY Responsibilities:

  1. Review project schedule data, verify activity records, open/close dates, WBS structure, and related data.
  2. Evaluate work packages for feasibility.
  3. Recommend alternative methods or processes for efficiency.
  4. Communicate schedule status and corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule information is clear and updated.
  6. Supervise development of project status reports, including critical path analysis.
  7. Develop and maintain project baselines.
  8. Analyze project requirements and resource availability; notify management of issues.
  9. Coordinate data collection on project activities.
  10. Adjust schedules as needed and prepare status reports.
  11. Ensure project plans are achievable and current.
  12. May act as delegate for the Scheduling Manager.
  13. Develop schedule analysis and documentation for EPC contract adherence.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Ability to work with diverse teams and reach consensus on complex issues.
  2. Minimum 8 years of scheduling experience, or experience in solar project development/construction (industries accepted: O&G, Utility, Renewable, Construction).
  3. Proficiency in scheduling software and analysis techniques.
  4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Solid understanding of commercial scheduling software like Primavera P6, MS Project, and related Microsoft Office programs.
