Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Project Manager II to lead senior-level execution of large, complex heavy civil projects on-site in Texas. You will drive project strategy, safety, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder relationships across cross-functional teams.

The role requires travel to support operations, with collaboration among Superintendents, Project Engineers, and partners to deliver results and advance Granite's project delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive construction/project experience, preferably heavy civil.
• Experience independently leading complex construction projects including financial performance, scheduling, contracts, risk management, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead project strategy, startup, planning, execution, and closeout for larger or more complex assignments.
• Own project budgets, costs, revenue, quantities, productivity, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
• Lead development and management of the project schedule, milestones, and resource strategies.
• Build and maintain client relationships; manage subcontractors and major commercial obligations.
