Job summary

DPR Construction in Dallas is seeking a senior financial leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for large-scale projects. You will partner with project and regional leadership to deliver insights and ensure profitability and financial compliance.

You will manage project accounting resources, supervise staff, and coordinate cash flow, billing, and audits across multiple programs, driving consistency and strong financial controls in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or related field.
• Experience supporting large-scale or complex projects with financial accountability.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, extraction, or related industry.
• Experience leading financial operations across multiple projects, programs, or business segments.
• 2–4 years of experience in a managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Leads financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for large-scale projects, including analysis of risks and opportunities.
• Serves as the primary financial advisor to project leadership, supporting decision-making and performance management.
• Manages and develops project accounting staff, including oversight of daily financial operations and work coordination.
• Oversees project cost structures, including labor, materials, insurance, and contract-related financial components.
• Leads project performance reviews and prepares consolidated financial summaries and forecasts for leadership.
• Monitors and manages cash flow, billing, collections, and financial exposures across the project lifecycle.
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, including audit coordination.
