Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior financial leader to oversee financial activities for large-scale projects in the Austin region. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, partnering with project and regional leadership to drive profitability and strong financial performance.

You will manage project accounting resources, guide financial decision-making across the project lifecycle, and ensure controls and compliance across multiple projects and programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A or a related field.
• Experience supporting large-scale or complex projects with financial accountability.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, extraction, or a related industry.
• Experience leading financial operations across multiple projects, programs, or business segments.
• 2–4 years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for large-scale projects, including risks and opportunities.
• Acts as primary financial advisor to project leadership for decision-making and performance management.
• Oversees project accounting staff and daily financial operations across projects.
• Manages project cost structures including labor, materials, insurance, and contracts.
• Leads project performance reviews and prepares consolidated financial summaries for leadership.
• Monitors cash flow, billing, collections, and financial exposures across the lifecycle.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls across multiple projects.
