Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced finance professional to support financial and accounting activities across multiple business units. The role partners with regional leadership to analyze performance, manage project accounting resources, and provide strategic financial decision-making and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting/finance, plus extensive experience in multi-project environments within construction or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
• 9+ years of experience in accounting, finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related field required.
• Experience supporting multiple projects or business units with consolidated financial reporting required.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, extraction, or a related industry required.
• Experience leading financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities across multiple business units, programs, or operational segments required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews monthly financial results, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned projects and business units.
• Partners with regional leadership to evaluate financial performance, including risks, reserves, and profitability drivers.
• Manages and develops project accounting staff, including coordination of work and support for performance development.
• Reviews project cost reports, backlog, billing positions, and cash flow to identify variances, risks, and unreported exposures.
• Leads business planning processes, including development of forecasts and analysis of key financial assumptions.
• Monitors labor productivity, overhead trends, and insurance-related costs to assess financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, including participation in audits, and supports implementation of financial reporting and forecasting practices across multiple projects and business units.
