Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior financial leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial compliance for large-scale projects. You will partner with regional leadership to provide actionable insights, safeguard financial integrity, and drive profitability across project lifecycles.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting/FP&A within construction or related industries, plus 2–4 years in management. CCIFP or CPA preferred.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A or related field.
Experience supporting large-scale or complex projects with financial accountability.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, extraction, or related industry.
Experience leading financial operations across multiple projects, programs, or business segments.
2–4 years of experience in a managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

Leads financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for large-scale projects, including analysis of risks and opportunities.
Serves as the primary financial advisor to project leadership, supporting decision-making and performance management.
Manages and develops project accounting staff, including oversight of daily financial operations and work coordination.
Oversees project cost structures, including labor, materials, insurance, and contract-related financial components.
Leads project performance reviews and prepares consolidated financial summaries and forecasts for leadership.
Monitors and manages cash flow, billing, collections, and financial exposures across the project lifecycle.
Ensures compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, including audit coordination, leading implementation of financial processes and reporting practices across multiple projects to promote consistency, efficiency, and financial transparency.
