HBK Engineering, LLC in the Chicago area is seeking a Project Engineer to bridge technical execution and people leadership. You will guide a small team of engineers, serve as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (ABET-accredited) and a PE license.
• Approximately 5 years of engineering experience with project execution and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of standard engineering principles and national standards; proficient with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Excellent mentoring, communication, and ability to represent HBK at client meetings.

Responsabilités

• Lead project delivery and manage the technical workplan with scope, schedule, budget, and compliance.
• Mentor up to six engineers and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Support business development with scopes, budgets, schedules for proposals and RFPs.
• Interface with clients and construction to resolve field/engineering conflicts.
• Perform technical reviews and enforce safe work practices.
• Champion HBK culture and contribute to events.
• Track KPIs and implement process/tool improvements across the division.
