Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Project Engineer to lead High Density Liquid Cooling (HDLC) and Integrated Solutions installation projects across the United States. You will manage technical execution from procurement through commissioning, guiding installation teams and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Field Engineering to keep projects profitable, develop BOMs, and support commissioning of CDU, SFN, and VACS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering, project engineering, or related technical role.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead on liquid cooling installation projects.
• Lead CDU, SFN manifolds, and RDHx installations from planning through commissioning.
• Develop and manage BOMs, procure materials, and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform pre-installation site walks to assess readiness and confirm field conditions.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to installation crews and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain project documentation and procedures.
• Ensure installation work complies with Vertiv standards and codes.
• Coordinate with Project Management to monitor schedules and provide progress updates.
• Support commissioning activities to ensure systems are fully tested before handover.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Field Engineering for project profitability.
