Job summary

Vertiv seeks an experienced Engineering Construction Manager to lead medium-scale data-center infrastructure projects across the United States. You will oversee on-site construction, ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and schedules while guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

You will manage vendors, coordinate with general contractors, monitor progress, review RFIs and change orders, and support commissioning to handover with a focus on high-density liquid cooling systems and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of construction management, with 3+ years in mission-critical or data-center projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, civil/structural construction, and safety practices (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from site prep to commissioning for data-center infra.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure scope, schedule and quality.
• Monitor construction schedules, provide updates, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports).
• Support commissioning teams to verify systems before handover.
