Designed Conveyor Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to manage all engineering on conveyor and material handling projects, from schedules to budgets and integration with controls. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, review customer specifications, and collaborate with vendors using AutoCAD and Navisworks to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor beneficial.
• Strong understanding of standard engineering concepts, especially in material handling.
• Ability to apply creativity and judgement to solve problems.
• Experience with ASRS, AMRs, Pallet Shuttle ASRS, and high-speed conveyors preferred.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing other team members.
• Effective cross-functional communication to keep work moving forward.

Mansioni

• Participate on a project team with PMs, Buyers, Customer Service, and cross-functional partners to complete conveyor and material handling projects.
• Own and manage all engineering tasks on a project, including schedules and budgets and tracking engineering change orders.
• Lead conversations with vendors and suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs.
• Review customer specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the design process.
• Provide technical support throughout the engineering process.
• Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with external vendors, and obtain customer approvals.
• Check drawings produced by others for accuracy.
• Validate handshakes and data exchange between multiple automation solutions for successful integration.
