Job summary

Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) is seeking a Program Engineer to drive cross-functional program delivery across a portfolio of material handling projects. You will bridge Engineering Delivery, Program Management, Controls, Applications, and Solutions teams to ensure alignment from opportunity through go-live, with a focus on design integrity and risk management.

You will participate in precontract reviews, develop accurate estimates, and ensure readiness for execution across multiple concurrent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in material handling system design and delivery engineering.
• Strong engineering and design expertise.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with cross-functional communication.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% per year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical and program partner across projects within a vertical ensuring alignment, visibility, and execution readiness.
• Maintain visibility across active and upcoming projects, aligning engineering, program management, and customer expectations.
• Mentor engineers and project team members on customer standards and program expectations.
• Review proposals and contribute to functional scope definition and mechanical clarifications.
• Attend design reviews and provide guidance on functional design and execution best practices.
